The dialog is only used to set options. It does not start the capture process.
To actually start the process, use the AutoCapture Start command or the
HotKey assigned to Start AutoCapture.
The selection method used by AutoCapture can also be selected in the Capture menu.
Like Single Capture the choices are Window, Region, Fixed Region and Full Screen.
Timer Options
Capture Rate
You can specify the time that elapses between captures in seconds, minutes or milliseconds
or you can specify the Capture Rate in Frames per second.
![]() | The capture capacity (how often you can capture) depends on your hardware. |
Stop After
You can specify the maximum number of frames you want to capture or a fixed duration in seconds or
minutes of the AutoCapture. You can also capture without a limit, but this is not recommended as AutoCapture
consumes disk space fast.
You can always interrupt AutoCature by defining the 'Stop Capture' hot key. Defining and memorizing the
'Stop Capture' Hotkey is strongly recommended before starting AutoCaptures of non-trivial duration.
