in the EasyCopy Main GUI.
Use the Movie Creator dialog to select the captures or files, which you want to use for the movie generation.
Select multiple files with the Shift key.

Select
Choose File and then Open to select the files.
As in all EasyCopy menus you have a small preview, which can be used to choose if any files should be
deselected or moved up or down the list.
To move the files up or down select the file(s) and press the blue arrows up or down.
Frames
With this option the frame size can be set. Frames are the still pictures that go together to make a moving picture.
In 'real' movies there are about 30 frames shown each second. For tutorials and simple animations you get a good result with 5 or 10 frames per second.
Frame Size
The frame size is set from the actual number of pixels in the pictures or captures to ensure the best result.
Guidelines for making images look good on screen also applies to movies. For example, if your computer is set
to a display size of 1280x1024, then that's the size you want your frames to be for a full size display.
Using a video projector you will match the resolution of your computer to that of the projector, so it will
still be the computer's resolution that will determine the size.
Frames per second (fps)is the standard for measuring the rate of video playback speed. A rate of 30 fps is
considered real-time speed and a rate of 24 fps is considered animation speed. At 12-15 fps, the human eye
can detect individual frames causing video to appear jerky.
Encoding

This dialog pops up when pressing the "Create Movie" key in the Movie Creator dialog.
The movie will be saved as an AVI file using MS MPEG-4 v2 video codec.
Save Movie

Choose the preferred directory and file name and save the movie. Use your preferred media player to view the Movie.
Play Movie
The movie can be played on any media player with support for the MPEG-4v2 video codec (Codec means the
Compressor/DECompressor used to create the media file).
The best quality is full size (1:1) as the media players we have tested distort the images somewhat when
scaled down.
The movie can also be played as part of a presentation in either MS Office PowerPoint or OpenOffice Impress.
