The information below applies to EasyCopy in Windows environments.
Refer to the topic Password Maintenance for the corresponding information for UNIX installation. |
DEMO mode means that the words AGI and Demo are scattered over any image you view, print, or save.
In order to unlock the software into a licensed version you must do the following:
When you get the password from AGI install it as follows:
Select Password in the Help menu.
Insert the password in the designated field in the Password dialog and press OK.
Note, that you can only use the password on the computer for which the license is ordered.
The password is installed by means of the Password dialog (see above) on the server on which you have installed EasyCopy.
Select Password in the Help menu, insert the password in the designated field in the Password dialog, and press OK.
If you are using different computers for application server and license server you must perform
this installation on both the application server and the license server. Remember, that the
password is nodelocked to the license server.
Using a License Server
If you have an EasyCopy License Server in your network to manage your EasyCopy licenses you
do not need a seperate password for each computer.
Note: You must run EasyCopy with administrator rights to install password. If you are running Vista you may experience problems even
if you use an account with administrator rights. To ensure password setup will work on Vista, right click on easycopy.exe and choose
“Run as administrator” from the context menu.

EasyCopy Client Installation ensures that the license server connection is available to the clients when the password has been installed on the application server on which you have installed the Windows version of EasyCopy.
