
Use the Print dialog to print the currently open file.
You open the dialog by means of the Print command
in the File menu, or you can use
the Print tool
.
You can print the current layout from Montage by means of
the Print command in
the File menu of Montage.
The dialog displays the current printer, the current image, and the page size.
Use Windows Printers is available only on Windows.
Printer Selection
The drop-down menu shows which the printer you have selected.
Expand the menu to select an alternate printer.
With the Printer Wildcard option you get easy access to the exact printer you are looking for.
Type in "hp" to see only the list of printers with hp in the name or type in "*1stfloor" to see only printers
with 1stfloor as part of the name.
Printer Setup
Click this button to open the Printer Setup dialog in
which you can select printer specific options. The Printer Setup dialog is part
of the printer driver you use for your printer.
Adaptive Page Size
Always on UNIX and on Windows if the EasyCopy Printers has been selected in the Print dialog, the Adaptive Page Size toggle can be chosen
and will be default for roll devices.
Even a 42" plotter with for instance 17" paper roll installed can benefit from the Adaptive Page Size option,
if you under Printer Setup, Page Size choose either a 17" roll or define 17" as the custom width.
If printing on fanfold paper adding a Top Offset will start the next plot on a new page.
If Adaptive Page Size is toggled on the page size will be calculated including the Top Offset value.
If you have toggled the Adaptive Page Size on, you will no longer need to calculate the length of your custom paper from within the Print Setup
dialog to match your file 1:1.
Multiple Copies
Specify the number of copies you want. One copy is the default.

You can use Print to File if you want to save the image in the file format supported by the printer, for example PostScript or RTL.

You can choose to print
The image is shown in gray scale if a monochrome printer is selected.
Colors
Press Colors to open the Color Options dialog in which you can specify device independent color modifications to the image.
