Profile Manager


Use the profile manager to maintain conversion profiles

You open the profile manager by clicking Conversion Profiles in the Image Conversion dialog.

Settings

Format
Use the drop-down menu to select an image file format. The default is TIFF.
 
EasyCopy supports export of the file formats listed below.
 
Options
Press Options to open a File Type Options dialog. The available options depend on the selected Format.

The options you specify will be set system-wide if you are System Administrator. Otherwise, you wil have a copy of the profile which is only available for you.
 
Image Size
Open the Image Size dialog to specify size hints for this profile.
Lock
If you are the owner of the profile you can lock it by pressing the   button. The icon changes to , and it is no longer possible to modify any options if the profile is selected.
This feature is mainly used by the System Administrator. Otherwise, you can only use it to lock yourself out.

Default Destination Directory
Optional you can save the prefered directory for a certain profile, which will make the GUI based conversion process much easier.

Create New

Press Create to create a new profile.

If you are System Administrator, the new profile will become system-wide available. Otherwise, it will become a personal profile which is only available for you.

Specify the name of the new profile. It will initially be created as a copy of another profile. When you have specified the name and pressed OK, you will get back to the Profile Manager dialog, and you can now change the settings.

Delete

You can only delete a profile if you own it, at it is unlocked.
