You can use the the Send command in the File menu to open the dialog.
In Montage you can use
the Send command to send the current
montage as an image.
Colors
Press Colors to open the Color Options dialog in which you can specify device independent color modifications to the image before it is sent.
The color options only apply if you have enabled the check box next to Colors.
![]() | Color Options apply before File Type Options. For example, if you select Gray Scale in the Color Options dialog and RGB in the File Type Options dialog, the image is reduced to gray scale, before it is sent in a 24-bit RGB format. If you select Gray Scale in the File Type Options dialog the image is reduced to gray scale and (if possible) sent in 8-bit gray scale format. |
Stamp
Press Stamp to open the Stamp Options dialog in which you can specify a stamp to be written diagonally across the image you send.
The stamp only applies if you have enabled the check box next to Stamp.
Label
Press Label to open the Label Options dialog in which you can specify one or more lines to be written as a label near the edge of the image you send.
The label only applies if you have enabled the check box next to Label.
You can select an existing profile from the drop-down menu.
You can modify the settings that you get from a profile by means of
the Details to the right.
You can modify the profile itself or specify a new profile
by means of the Profile Manager,
which is opened by means of the Conversion Profiles button.
EasyCopy supports export of the file formats listed below.
Options
Profile
A profile is a predefined specification of image format, options, and size hints.

Image Size
Normally, use the image size frame below to modify image size.
You can also press the Image Size button to open
the Image Size dialog (normally used
together with profiles) to specify image size options.
You can deal with image size either as pixels or metric size.
The most convenient depends on how you intend to use the image later.
You will probably care more about pixel dimensions if you want to e-mail the image or publish it on the internet; the metric size is important if you plan to take the image into a DTP application and use it as an illustration.
By default a converted image has the same pixel dimensions as the original image.
You can only change the pixel dimensions if you enable Resample.
Resampling will always reduce the image quality, although we provide the
best scaling methods. The amount depends on the image and the scale factor.
As long as you do not resample, you will preserve the original image quality.
Pixel dimensions and metric size are connected through the resolution which is specified as Pixels/Inch or Pixels/Centimeter.
Width and Height cannot be entered independently of each other unless you
disable Keep Original Aspect Ratio.
Resolution
The resolution you specify is written in the output file only if the output format supports resolution information.
In order to get consistent results also when the output format does not support resolution it is normally safe to use 72 dpi.
Most desktop applications assume a default resolution of 72 or 75 dpi.
Width and Height cannot be entered independently of each other unless you
disable Keep Original Aspect Ratio.

Output file name
The default output file name is the same as the input name, except that the extension is changed to
reflect the new file format.
Image Size
By default the image size is unchanged.
Metric Size
Width and Height
Enter the desired dimensions in your preferred unit. Choose any of these units:
Inches, Centimeters, Millimeters, or Points (1/72").
Enter the resolution in dpi (pixels/inch).
Resolution and the metric size cannot be entered independently of each other,
unless you enable Resample Image.
The default resolution is the resolution of the input image. If the input image does not contain resolution information a default of 72 dpi applies.
Pixels
Width and Height
Enter the desired dimensions in pixels.
You can only enter the pixel dimensions if you have enabled Resample Image.
If you enable resampling you can choose the scale method.
Select Anti-aliasing (default), Bilinear, or Replication.
These methods are explained in the topic Image Scaling.
This button provides a shortcut to multiply pixel width
and pixel height by 2.
This button provides a shortcut to divide pixel width
and pixel height by 2.
Aspect Ratio
Keep this box checked to maintain the aspect ratio of the input image. Width and Height cannot be entered independently on each other; if one is entered the other is automatically updated. If you want to set Width and Height independently you must disable Keep Original Aspect Ratio.
Send
Press the Send button when you have selected all desired options.
